Derby
Sara took Goldie
and were beautifully turned out to look patriotic! Plus they put
in amazing rounds taking 3rd place!!! Congrats yet again on another
successful show!
GVH Horse
Trials - July 9-10, 2011
Sara rode Goldie
and put in a much improved dressage test, went clean stadium and
went clean cross country to take 5th place. Congrats Sara and Goldie!
Stuart
Horse Trials - July 14-15, 2011
Stuarts is always soooo fun! It was great to have Sara take Goldie
to compete in the Novice division. The just keep improving in dressage
every competition! Then they put in a great double clear round cross
country! Unfortunetly the stadium was not so friendly and many rails
were knocked but thankfully there is always next year :) I am still
so proud of you both!

Open Show - July 22-23, 2011
What
a great two day show. Congratulations to all HSS riders on doing
such a wonderful job riding!

Standard Stables Horse Trial - July 30, 2011
Our
Horse Trial was once again a huge hit. Thank you to all who came
and rode! The weather couldn't have been better and all the horses
and riders were such a pleasure!
Chemung
County Fair - August 3-7, 2011
What a great 5 days of showing with the group of girls from HSS.
We had a blast and tons of laughter :) We had 8 horses so lots of
trips to get to the show, but thanks to Allie's dad who helped trailer
it made the day so much easier! Thursday was jumpers and wow was
it a blast!!! Kayla rode Sunrise and placed great in all of her
classes and even took 1st out of 20 riders in a 2'6" jumper
class. Jessie rode her horse Treat and did great for her first jumper
show. And Sara rode both of her horses Goldie and Cowboy and won
a class with each of them. What a great start to the show! Amy rode
Victor and had fun with him taking Championship in the hunter division.
And Allie was a great help while she waited for her classes later
that week.
On
Friday Hunter/Jumper day Sara rode Goldie in 3 divisions and took
Championship in all 3 divisions… 2 for equitation and 1 for
Hunter. Congratulations on a great day!! Jessie rode Treat and put
in some awesome courses… so much improvement! She also took
Reserve in the equitation division. Kayla rode Sunrise in the hunter
division and placed well in some big classes! They just keep getting
better and better. Amy rode Victor in hunters and an equitation
division and took the Reserve for the equitation. She also rode
Jack in hunters and also took reserve. It was a very fun day again!
Saturday
was the open English classes and wow did everyone do so well. Lots
of learning but my favorite was the equitation pattern… it
was really challenging but my 4 riders all placed amazing and did
the pattern sooooo well!!! Jessie took Reserve in her division and
Kayla took the Championship of her division. Sara and Allie both
did so well in their divisions and had a great time with their horses.
Sunday
was dressage which was a good last day of the week. Allie did First
Level with her horse Zoey and I was just so proud of them! They
have come such a long way together!!!!! Sara rode Goldie in Training
level and put in a nice test and learned a lot. Amy rode Jack, Victor,
and Foxy and had a blast with all three of them. They all put in
great tests and it was really fun when Victor pulled off the Championship
and Foxy came in right behind him with the Reserve… way to
go Foxy :)
I
am so proud of all you girls and will never forget all the great
memories we made!!! And I can't wait for next year!!!!!
GVRDC
Horse Trial - August 27-28, 2011
Sara took Goldie and did her first horse trial at Training Level…
how exciting :) They both did great putting in a good dressage test,
then only had 1 knock down in Stadium, and off to cross country
they went. They were awesome and went clean!!! Double clear! Congrats!
Plus they ended up coming in 7th which was such a bonus!
Livingston
County 4h Benefit Show - September 10-11, 2011
Nice job ladies on another great show! Jessie rode Treat, Sara rode
Cowboy on the western day and Goldie on the English day, Amy rode
Victor, and Ella rode Sunrise for her first show EVER :) Lots of
great memories but one fun one was doing the open pleasure class
that had about 14 riders and Jessie & Treat took 3rd, Sara &
Goldie took 2nd, and Amy & Victor took 1st. Top three sweep
for HSS riders :) Great moment and nice job ladies on your riding!
Ella also had a great first show, thanks to Sunrise showing her
the ropes…. What a good girl! And congrats Ella on coming so
far in such a short time! But all the HSS riders did amazing placing
in almost every single class. Also Congrats to Sara and Goldie who
took Champion of the Junior English division, and Amy and Victor
who took Reserve of the Open English division.

Stables Open Show - October 2, 2011
Well not the best weather to say the least but surprisingly we still
had a decent turnout! Thank you to all who stuck out the cold wet
rainy mist.
